30-31st January, 2015 in Frankfurt am Main had place Symposium “Practical management of complicated hospital infections in Europe” in frame of SHAPE Programm (Sharing Hospital Anti-infectives Perspective in Europe). Lectures and interactive Workshops gave well-known experts in the field of surgery, intensive care, microbiology and economics of NHS: professors Mo Baguneid (UK), Isabelle Durand-Zaleski (France), Cristian Eckmann (Germany), Xavier Gurao (Spain), Wolfgang R. Heizmann (Germany), Philippe Montravers (France), Jorge Parra-Ruiz (Spain), Gian Maria Rossolini (Italy), Jordi Rello (Spain).
With Professor C.Eksmann discussed the solutions in relation to clinical problems in filds of complicated SSTI, that were presented at the Workshops. The discussion confirmed the identity of our approaches to the treatment of this pathology.
